Frigid Thoughts..

What was the real capacity of our knowledge?

I intentionally write that title because my next topic is all about atheists.

The way they think is beyond the limit of their knowledge. I really do wonder, how did they get those ideas? Or how could they ask questions like “Did God exist?” I believe that in every rule, there will always be exemptions. So if this world has a rule, therefore somebody will be exempt to be questioned?

I have encountered a person who believed that there is no God. I asked her if how she could prove that there is no God. It’s simply because she haven’t seen God once. And for her, a particular thing or person has no essence if she can’t see the proof of existence. As our conversation goes hand in hand, she asked me who made God? I just answered, “Whether there is God or not, I don’t care”.
According to Blaise Pascal’s philosophy, you cannot prove something just by reasons, in his statements: "The heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing. It is the heart which perceives God and not the reason. That is what faith is: God perceived by the heart, not by the reason." Therefore, even if you prove that God does not exist by reasons, real theists won’t be affected by it because they have faith in God in their heart and not by the reasons as what atheists argue.

Freedom

I want to give emphasis about individual’s freedom. To live, speak, to be heard, to choose the path they want, to ask, to be learned, etc. is our freedom. People need not to be deprived on their lives. We’ve given our privilege to speak our mind according to what we really know. It is our freedom also to be heard whenever we speak our minds. Whether it is appropriate or not it still our freedom. And of course, freedom in choosing our own belief. It is our right to choose the right path that we want. If a person doesn’t like to believe that there is God then let it be. Don’t force him/her to believe that God exists because it is his own will to know what is right. And so, don’t force also a theist to be an atheist because they have the so-called “faith” that can’t be wrecked by a mere reason (as what I’ve discussed awhile ago).

Suicide

Many people nowadays facing to much depression due to many problems. We cannot blame them if they commit suicide to be a solution to their never ending problems. Some of us judge those people who commit suicide without knowing why they did that. But for me, suicide is not a solution. If you see something absurd about life, why end it without doing appropriate actions? You know that life is absurd so you must do something to end its absurdity. Nevertheless suicide became one of the remedy for the people who is suffering from too much depression. Why they do that? Sounds absurd right? But I really can’t blame them because I don’t know the reason behind it (and I really don’t want to know and even to deal with it). Definitely, life is full of none-sense events that results to wretchedness. Our emotions are too weak to face depression and pain. So committing suicide is one best way to end a particular problem? Well that’s really stupid. We really need to think about this million times. Life is really absurd, but if you didn’t make any way to make life meaningful then you will even think to commit suicide.

Death

We all know that we will face death in our time. So why still live if we will die? If life is ridiculous, why still live? As what I’ve discussed awhile ago, while still living here on earth that is full of foolishness and stupid things, we must make our life meaningful even if you find it ridiculous. Concerning with your life is enough to know that you still want to live and you don’t want to die. Fighting for your right to live rightfully is one best way to live. And when you die, we didn’t know where we’ll be going. If there is heaven or hell, there are two choices. But what if heaven and hell is not true? We’ll stay floating outside the earth? We can only know that when we die.

Conclusion

It’s really a big privilege to write my own philosophy and skepticism with our life here on earth. My capacity to think is not enough but I still share it so I can say what I really think. To widen my perspective into something ridiculous is really important because I am a human being and I really have to know what I still don’t know. Nietzsche was right. “What distinguishes us [scientists] from the pious and the believers are not the quality but the quantity of belief and piety; we are contented with less. But if the former should challenge us: then be contented and appear to be contented! - then we might easily reply: 'We are, indeed, not among the least contented. You, however, if your belief makes you blessed then appear to be blessed! Your faces have always been more injurious to your belief than our objections have! If these glad tidings of your Bible were written on your faces, you would not need to insist so obstinately on the authority of that book... As things are, however, all your apologies for Christianity have their roots in your lack of Christianity; with your defense plea you inscribe your own bill of indictment.” And I really want to stay to my agnostic state
